Andrew Jex is a versatile filmmaker and audio engineer with a passionate dedication to the arts, known for his positive work ethic and creativity. A fortified Eagle Scout and an MFA graduate from Columbia College Chicago, he is a trained leader who brings a wealth of experience to every project he’s involved with, eager to collaborate with others and forge connections.
Andrew’s filmmaking proficiency is well-rounded, having previously served as a college instructor, sports cameraman, documentarian, and freelance videographer. Adept from development to post-production, he is professionally trained in ProTools, FCPX, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects, ready to deliver stories that are resonating and emotional.
Whether in the director’s chair or integrating within a team, Andrew is ready to push boundaries and craft meaningful cinema. His commitment to excellence and readiness to embrace new challenges leaves an indelible mark on every project he undertakes. Outside of work, Andrew indulges in horror films, cuddling cats, and taking the occasional nap.
